A practical check before sharing a guide track
A practical check before sharing a guide track
Ecrit le 15 oct. 2026 17:59I need to hand a demo recording to an editor working remotely. There is a texture I want them to assess, but describing it as strange or metallic feels too vague to be useful. I would rather send a precise observation than prescribe a fix. I would begin with the exact filename and revision date. I would include timestamps covering the part that needs attention. I came across suno shimmer as a possible term while reading about generated audio, although I am not sure it fits this particular sound. I want the description to distinguish what I hear from my guess about it. The headphones or speakers used could be recorded in the note. The editor should receive both the source and the relevant excerpt. I would avoid asking for a particular processing setting. What would you need before assessing this audio issue?
